FLASH: Mets Prospects Added to the 40 Man Roster



The Mets have added the following players to their 40 man roster. Doing so will protect them from the Rule 5 Draft.

    hopefully leaving Wuilmer Becerra unprotected does not come back to haunt the Mets

      I can see a Braves, reds, Phillies type team keeping him on the roster all year because they are rebuilding. Why not drop Campbell and make room for Becerra. Too much of a gamble I think.

    I would try and pickup danny hultzen from seatlle, he was just DFA'd I would keep him on th register for the year as a loogy and hope he gets over his shoulder issues.

    Organization showing alot of reslectt for jeff walters following his injury stuff...........and I know some macks mets people have spoken of lugo before.

    How do you not protect Beccera but you do a 28yr old Walters. Makes no sense. Remember the Nats took catcher Flores from the Mets a never played above A+
