I don't get the whole Lagares story. Last year there was speculation that he might need surgery. "Dr. Reese" diagnosed him in August as needing to be shut down for the season.
ReplyDeleteAfter the season, the real doctors examined him and said he just needs a winter of rest and rehab.
Now he's playing every day in the DR.
I don't get it.
@Metsiac
ReplyDeleteThey ordered Lagares to give it 6-8 weeks of rest to see if it will heal on its own. The club is using the Winter Leagues to test Lagares' elbow out to see if he's back to normal both defensively and offensively.
Two OF assists for Lagares are a good sign. And Wilmer is really hitting.

ReplyDeleteThis was the first game that Flores played 3B this winter.
ReplyDeleteYes it is Mack....
ReplyDeleteIt seems like the Mets want Flores to prep for a multi position bench role just in case they sign a new SS and 2B.
Unless weeks in November count double, he had HALF of the 6-8 weeks prescribed. The WS ended in November, and he started playing in the DR in the same month.
