Update: Big shout out to Michael Mayer of MetsMinors.net who was able to find video of the what happened on Youtube. If you are squeamish I would not recommend watching. Reports are indicating that he suffered a broken nose.

  2. I really like that Montero is a reliever here in winter ball.
    Like I was saying last year with Plawecki, I want mets to field the best 25man roster they can, even if it means talent like plaw on bench and Montero in the bullpen instead of getting his innings starting in vegas.

  6. Losing 80 games is so damaging to any young guy's career, for any reason. You want to make it to the bigs before you hit a certain age. Missing 80 games has to really hurt...apart from the stupidity of it.

  7. Well there goes possibly the best 3B prospect in the system. ....
    At this point my uneducated guess is that these athletes all being told this hot new substance is undetectable but the mlb and nfl found a system in place that detects it soooooooo
