Feel better.
ReplyDeleteAll good in Metsville, including the Ruben decision.
Hope you're doing okay Mack, feel better.
ReplyDeleteTom/Joe -
ReplyDeleteThanks for your warm thoughts.
Got tomorrow's report started... I have written the opening line 'Good Morning..." :)
Why is it our bodies tell us we need a day to slow down and relax, but we feel too bad to enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteGreat news on the $3 million man! Hopefully Sandy Alderson can peddle him by the All Star Break to some club in need of...wait, what is that Ruben Tejada does well? Remind me...he can't hit, can't run, has no power and last year posted advanced defensive metrics worse than Wilmer Flores...why is he STILL here? For as little as he'd better play you could have the minimum wage Matt Reynolds and by mid season Gavin Cecchini.
Robles suspension = 2G @KC:
ReplyDeleteI say, piggy back Harvey-Matz/Thor, deGrom-Thor/Matz & go with a 6-man (5, if willing to use Colon) BP and 2 extra position players in KC.
OK, slow day.
Reese - Matt Reynolds may just sneak in there. Once he does, he'll do so well that Ralph Kiner would have had to rename Kiner's Corner as Reynolds Wrap. He'd end up being able to afford to buy one of Cespedes' exotic rides.
ReplyDeleteMack, just a thought - if you are not up to writing a Morning Report Friday, why not have Ernest re-post his Tradition Field extravanganza from a few days ago - he posted it late, and likely some folks did not see it. it was great.
Thanks again Tom for all the awesome feedback......
ReplyDeleteI figured why not further make use of that recent 160ish mile roundtrip to write a follow up post anyway for my usual Friday 10am. I forgot a couple things I wanted to mention about David during his fielding drills.......
Oh, and Reece, in defense of Ruben, he really does have a great glove, and he looked in midseason form on Tuesday with his scoops, quick hands and speed of lightning throw to second for double play drills ;)
Oh and guys everyine please feel free to use any of my pics in your future posts.......... especially the ones of the arms, Thor and Montero that I took close up ;)
ReplyDeleteGood idea Tom, but I'm back and the Dove-man will do his Friday 10am follow-up instead
ReplyDeleteGreat
DeleteGreat
Delete@Ernest. Numbers don't lie. His -15 DRS last year at SS tied Cabrera and trailed Flores at -10.

ReplyDeleteReese I get a headache when fancy numbers I don't understand are thrown around lol......
ReplyDeleteEither way im still patiently awaiting the future arrival of Amed Rosario. Cabrera, Tejada, Wilmer, Reynolds, Cecchini, moe, larry and curly can hold the fort until then ;)
