Hudson Belinsky‏ - @hudsonbelinsky   - Congratulations to Etiwanda (CA) senior SS/2B Tyler Freeman on 100th hit of his HS career. You'll see a lot more hits from him over the years.

Perfect Game -  2016 National Showcase   Jun 15, 2016 - PG Grade: 10 - Tyler Freeman is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Etiwanda HS. Medium athletic build, prototype middle infielder's look. Polished defensive actions, moves easily with balanced actions, fields out front with a quick transfer and release, lots of arm strength for the deep throws, plays defense with confidence and ease. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with quick hands, aggressive approach and will attack early in the count, handles the barrel very well, line drive approach that is going to make lots of contact, has bat speed and can drive the gaps. 6.77 runner. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.

Hudson Belinsky‏ - @hudsonbelinsky  - State College of Florida LHP Brendan Little has shown very good stuff. I'll see him next week. Will have daily game reports for a couple weeks at http://BaseballAmerica.com .

Baseball America - After a dynamic summer in the Cape Cod League—39 strikeouts in 27 innings for Bourne and a spot on the league’s all-star team—Little already was mentioned as a potential first-round pick before throwing his first meaningful junior-college pitch for the Manatees. What the heck happened? “All I know is when you have a lefthander who can throw a 96 mile-an-hour fastball with an 84 mile-an-hour breaking ball—stuff you may not see even in the big leagues—if he can control all the pitches he’s got, you’re definitely looking at a first-round pick,” said Manatees pitching coach Don Robinson, who had 15 seasons of major league experience with the Pirates, Giants, Angels and Phillies.

Hudson Belinsky‏ - @hudsonbelinsky – Deerfield Windsor School (GA) C Steven Williams - High makeup, strong lefthanded bat, evaluators split on defensive home for him. Was on the rise in the fall.

Perfect Game - 2016 National Showcase   Jun 15, 2016 PG Grade: 10 - Steven Williams is a 2017 C/OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Albany, GA who attends Deerfield-Windsor HS. Extremely strong and well proportioned athletic build. Plays both outfield and catcher. 6.89 runner, has right field tools on defense with a very strong arm with carry. Highest ceiling defensively behind the plate, has nice footwork and plenty of athleticism, big arm strength, just needs more repetitions receiving the ball and blocking. Left handed hitter, swing has noticeably improved in its path and extension of the last year, has lots of raw bat speed with lift and extension through contact, swing is a bit timing intensive and there is some swing/miss but the ball explodes off the barrel when squared. Looks to hit the ball hard. Verbal commitment to Auburn. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
