ABOUT LAST GAME: Jordan Humphreys carried the Fireflies to victory on Friday with seven innings and nine strikeouts. Columbia defeated Augusta 7-2 at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The righty allowed just one run and picked up his second win. Luis Carpio recorded his fifth multi-hit game this season.

EARN IT: Jordan Humphreys and Max Kuhns did not walk an Augusta batter on Thursday night. It’s the first time Columbia pitching hasn’t surrendered a walk in a game since August 23, 2016.

The southpaw posted six innings, had 5 strikeouts, and walked no one. Conlon logged at least six innings in 10 of his starts with Columbia in 2016.Today is the one-year anniversary of Spirit Communications Park’s opening - a game in which Conlon started.
