ABOUT LAST GAME: Columbia won its third straight, 7-4, over the Delmarva Shorebirds on Thursday night. Merandy Gonzalez earned his fifth win of the season on the mound (five innings and seven strikeouts). Adonis Uceta pitched 2.1 scoreless frames and recorded his team-leading third save of the season. The Fireflies have 25 hits in the first two games of this series.

TWIN-BILLThursday’s scheduled doubleheader was moved to Friday due to rain. Game one will begin at 5:05 p.m. with game two following approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

TWIN-BILL, ACT 2: On this date back in 2008, former Indians infielder and current Met Asdrubal Cabrera completed the 14th unassisted triple play in MLB history. It occurred during the nightcap of a doubleheader. There has only been one unassisted triple play since - Phillies infielder Eric Bruntlett in 2009.

MR. DASH: Dash Winningham has recently turned things around at the plate. He leads the Fireflies with 22 RBIs. The 21-year-old also holds a .471 batting average (8-for-17) when there’s two outs and runners are in scoring position.

BOTTOM-FEEDERS: Columbia’s last two batters in its order were part of the formula for success on ThursdayAli Sanchez and Milton Ramos combined for five of the team’s 10 hits and four of the seven runs scored.

EMEMY TERRITORY: The Fireflies have a .252 batting average on the road compared to just .220 at home.
