INJURY UPDATE - SP - Wilfredo Boscon
Betsy HelfandVerified account@betsyhelfand tells me that Las Vegas starter Wilfredo Boscon was pulled last night after 2.1 innings saying his knee didn't feel right. No details past that at this point.
Never heard of him but if he is a Mets player, it lends to reason he would get hurt. Dr. Frankenstein will see him next for the knee replacement surgery.
Poor Jeff McNeil missed 2016 with a double sports hernia and had some sort of hip surgery in the off-season. He missed early 2017, then hit like mad over 4 games in St Lucie, but hurt himself somehow on April 29 and is back on the DL. Good grief.

The Mets theme album is Who's Next, by the Who.
ReplyDeleteThe Pirates' theme song was We Are Family.
The Mets' theme is We Are Infirmary (I got all my blisters and me)

ReplyDeleteThese are athletes mind you. I think there are less people hurt in a nursing home.
