There was a comment left here by someone anonymously that speculated on the extent of the Szapucki injury.
We at Mack's Mets do not publish anonymous speculations on these issues and will only state the reason for a player being placed on the disabled list if the information comes either from a team official or from someone willing to identify him/herself on the site.
Not sure if this constitutes speculation, and I'm not anonymous (and I don't claim to have any actual info) but with all that said, "forearm" issues too often turn out to be the stuff of TJ Surgery. Let's hope not, but given the ongoing deluge of terrible news, I wouldn't bet against it. Sigh.
the anon comment did mention TJS, but I choose to wait and here the official version... or, at least, another Mets blogger that will identify himself on, let's say, Twitter, that I can cut and paste what he said.
What now
ReplyDeleteJust how serious is SZAPUCKI? We will eventually find out I suppose.
