  1. Morning Chris.

It's good to see that Luis is off to a good start. Tom will be looking cosely to see if any of his hits are for extra bases.

  2. Who here is on the Kyle Regnault over Josh Smoker bandwagon? They need another lefty to go with Blevins and he might just be the guy after a AAA season in pitching hell with a 3.28 ERA and nearly 1 K per IP? Smoker is probably worth stashing in AAA but I am tired of seeing them bringing guys up or back simply because they already paid for their nameplates on their locker.

If you remember my end of the season positional analysis, I have Regnault in the Mets pen, and on the 25-man, on opening day.

Not me....I was highly impressed with Smoker's fastball velocity as well as the sudden appearance of his split-finger fastball.

An off-season of working on that new pitch + refining his curveball and his fastball command could result in him becoming a REALLY good high leverage RP. Certainly not jumping off that bandwagon.

  5. So Mickey Galloway is being interviewed for the managerial position .. good dark horse candidate .. Terry Francona speaks highly of him

  6. Oh also I do still have faith in Smoker .. I think he was a victim of being burned out by Terry

  7. @ed

he got jerked around a bit in AAA too.....was thrown into a SP role due to a lack of depth around mid-season.

A calm and gentle off season could do wonders for the Smoke-man.
