Simply absurd. Anyone else in baseball break a bone? Only a Met.Time for Wheeler to be a dealer. Time for Montero to take advantage of his 42nd lifeline.
Well, that clears up the logjam a bit, doesn't it? My rotation has the "Big Five" now -- deGrom, Thor, Harvey, Wheeler and Matz. Vargas' injury opens up a bullpen spot for at least two of Montero, Gsellman and Lugo.
Tom - Can't blame this on the Mets medical staff. He was hit by a pitched ball. Life happens.
He was hit by a BATTED ball.
No problem with the medical staff, Mack. Freaky that ANOTHER METS INJURY happens like this, is what I was referring to.By comparison, any Yankees break a bone lately? Nope.
