Love Chambers' pop - reminds me of a former Mets 18th rounder, Travis Taijeron, but Chase appears he has better contact rate. Guessing he is a lefty slugger.
ReplyDeleteI think banking on a bunch of kid "top prospects" to turn around and rebuild your MLB team is a considerable longshot.
ReplyDeleteYou have to understand that Jake deGrom and Noah Syndergaard are this franchises' best two starters that they have had here in over thirty-three years.
So you mean to say here, that Jake and Noah could simply be replaced by 8-10 rookie kid top prospects from another franchise's minor league ball clubs.
It isn't Jake or Noah. It's the bullpen and not enough good hitters on this Mets team. Now, if the Mets got back fifteen top prospects then maybe. But still they lose the top two starters they have ever had here next to Gooden and Seaver. Is it worth this?
