The Baby Cakes defeated the 51s, 16-4, in game two of the three-game series (series tied 1-1) and the seven-game homestand before a crowd of 2,170 at Cashman Field.
New Orleans built a 16-2 lead after scoring 8 runs in the fourth inning. Second baseman Eric Campbell was 4-for-4, double, triple, 4 RBI, two runs scored and third baseman Cristhian Adames was 4-for-6, three doubles, 2 RBI, two runs scored.
Right-hander Pablo Lopez recorded the victory in his Triple-A debut. He pitched 6 innings and allowed 6 hits, 3 runs (2 earned), walked 1 and struck out 4.
51s first baseman Dominic Smith was 3-for-5, double, RBI, run scored.
Vegas has historically bad pitching.
