I've said this before...I thought Becerra was a steal in this trade. It turned out CHRIS Becerra worked out better.
MackWhat do you think about Sonny Gray?Yanks are unhappy.Gray has not performed well in hitter friendly Yankee stadium.Citifield is more of a pitchers park like Oakland where he performed well. Buy low candidate?Possibly build something around Flores?
I too had high hopes for Becerra . So what’s the breakdown of the status of those relief arms we got at the trade deadlines of ‘17?
I would take a shot at Sonny GreyBigger park , no DH and Eiland may prove to be a better formula
Didn't he get beaned in the head (Becerra) before we got him? You have to wonder how that changed his outlook, etc?Callahan? Eh, not too worried about that one.Crazy how small the percentages are for prospects to actually make itin MLB.
MikeHe was hit early on in his firt pro seasnOrg. Tried to hide him but Sandy demanded that he be part of the trade.
BobI think we need to solve CF. C .RP .first.We have 6 capable starters two of which need extended $$$ contracts
The organization has to be able to multi-task.Stop looking at roster building as putting fingers in the holes of the dam just to get by and check items off of a list.Start looking at building a team that has a consistent productive core that is complimented by shorter term additions.
If Drew Smith succeeds then maybe just one of the obtained six amounts to something which is the cherry on top of the manure pile of Sandy's acquisitions (and that's still an if).
Becerra never the same after his shoulder injury a few years back.
Mackster:That photo you have posted on Jeff is amazing. My goodness gracious. With that pose, he reminds me of Moe minus the bangs. You are so very bad I swear! Mack! Enjoy the "Hurricane Off Season" too. Eight more months and it ramps up again, unfortunately.(I am thinking Nome myself. An igloo.)
