was the Saturday starter for much of the 2018 season, posting six wins in 77.0
innings.
He
started each of his 14 appearances, notching 64 strikeouts and closing the
season with a 3.74 ERA.
Ragan’s
best outing was a dazzling complete game win over Villanova on May 12. During
the performance, Mitch recorded 12 strikeouts and allowed just one unearned run
on four hits.

- Creighton’s Mitch Ragan was named Big East pitcher of the week Monday after
helping the Bluejays sweep Seton Hall last week.
Ragan
threw a complete game in Creighton’s 5-1 win over the Pirates on Thursday. The
senior gave up two hits and didn’t allow a run until a solo homer in the ninth
inning. He struck out seven and allowed four Seton Hall batters to reach base.
