Battle of third basemen: Baty and Peroza - who will be better?
ReplyDeletePeroza at 3B is several months younger, already in Brooklyn, and hitting .282/.348/.570 in 38 Kingsport and Brooklyn games with 37 RBIs.
Hmmm...
It's hard to say since it's early, those are good numbers by Peroza, however Baty received plenty of hype when he was drafted. Only time will tell who is going to be better.

ReplyDeletePeroza breaks out as:
GCL: .328
Brooklyn: .244
Not climbing the latter in the NY Penn League
Peroza. 17 RBI's in 22 games with Brooklyn. I'll take that anyday.
ReplyDeletePeroza has been an unknown name, but he won't stay unknown much longer if he keeps mashing like he has.
