ReplyDeleteBeltran got off, then?
I don't understand how players can't be held responsible for participating in this.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the manager pulled the trigger, but what about the people that helped him?
It was attempted by the Nazis, "I was only following orders."
ReplyDeleteThey just fired these two guys.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually heartening to see a club hold its personnel accountable. Actually, "Rare" is a better word.
ReplyDeleteNot sure its true accountability. Its a practical thing right? They would have no GM or manager for 1y. You have to fire them.
ReplyDeleteFlip side. This helps Mets right? The Mets supplemental and second rd picks get a slight boost.
Boy this significantly tarnishes the new Met manager.
ReplyDeleteTP---Does it? I could care less. Maybe Im in the minority, but bigger fish to fry out there. Bigger thing to be concerned about, IMO.
