360.com says 2020 Mets have a path to the pennant. Matt is optimistic on
the Mets: “This Mets team is not perfect. Our defense is weak. We don’t have
enough depth at the upper levels of our minors. We have a rookie manager and a
bullpen with questions. However, we still have one of the better rotations in
the league and our lineup may well be the best and deepest we’ve had since 2006
when we won 97 games.”

So, Dom Smith will hit just .244 this year after .282 last year? Really?
ReplyDeleteThe spring training locomotive is picking up speed. Yeah.
As per a good suggestion by John, I will be re-posting some of my blasts from the pasts throughout the weeks leading up to opening day.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first mention of Jacob Rhame that I've seen in a while. Where is he anyway?
ReplyDeleteHe is on the 40 man roster but has shown up yet in any games.
ReplyDeleteIs he even in camp?
DeleteI reached out to Ernest Dove who is at Spring Training. He said he has not seen him. If he was not there it would be news. He may not yet be fully recovered from last year's injury so they might be taking it slow. I will reach out to a couple of other sources.
DeleteThanks.
DeleteHeyman thinks the sale will come quickly as in during the season. It will not be to any of the names mentioned so far.
