Where I see the Mets severely lacking is quality LHP in the minors.
ReplyDeleteHopefully Thomas Szapucki will develop into a winner here.
ReplyDeleteSeth Lonsway averaging 21 Ks per 9 innings? Where’s the catch?
ReplyDeleteA real catcher who can hit enough to start would be desirable. Ramos can hit. Nido can catch. They need to combine those talents.
ReplyDeleteReese -
ReplyDeleteReal catcher that can do what you ask go very early in the first round. We don't get a chance at them.
This past draft at 1.13 was Patrick Bailey
In 2019 there was:
1.1 - Adley Rutcshman
1.8 - Shea Langeliers
Tom
ReplyDeleteNo catch on Lonsway but, if he keeps pitching that way, he will be long gone before we pick,
