Local FAU product BJ Murray was a solid bat in the Pompano Beach Clippers lineup during the 2020 season hitting .299 with 1 HR, 6 doubles, 18 RBI’s and 29 walks. The switch hitting 3B has a strong, athletic frame with a pretty swing from both sides of the plate. From the left side he has fluid hands through the zone and from the right side he’s more rotational, but the hands still work well enough. He has a developing approach in the box and looks more comfortable and in control than the past. Murray has power potential in the future as he matures. Defensively he has solid footwork and enough arm strength to stay at 3B.
