All Lanzilli does is hit, hit, hit. A mainstay in the Demon Deacons lineup since 2018, Lanzilli has now compiled 465 ABs and hit .314 along the way. He's a bit of a mystery on defense having played 1B, 2B and LF, but given his size, it's doubtful he ends up on the middle infield. He's hit in college and mashed in the Cape. His 31 career HRs are pretty impressive. He'll need to hit at the next level, but the bat is easy to be intrigued by despite what many believe is fringy bat speed. Batted ball profile is among the most impressive in college ball in 2020.

Through three seasons in Winston-Salem, Lanzilli has a .314 career average with 37 doubles, 31 homers and 112 RBIs. He has drawn 59 walks and stolen seven bases, as well. He played in 123 games and made 119 starts, primarily in left field but also in right field and at third base, totaling 146 career hits.

Boston Herald -

There was little doubt when the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft format was announced that a large swath of amateur players would feel negative effects from the reductions. Stoneham’s Chris Lanzilli is a prime example.

With the draft shortened from 40 rounds to just five this year in order to lessen the financial burden of MLB clubs dealing with a season jeopardized by the pandemic, the Wake Forest outfielder/third baseman was left on the outside looking in when the 160 selections concluded on Thursday night.

Mack's spin -

This is an extremely talented power bat, but doesn't project that well in the field. Hopefully, he has worked on that coming into this season.

In a normal draft, he would have been picked last year somewhere in the first ten rounds. I expect him to go much higher this time.
