The Mets won, 6-1. Jacob deGrom threw two scoreless innings. Dom Smith hit a home run. Pete Alonso had two doubles.
The Mets are 3-2 in Grapefruit play, which does not matter, because spring games don't matter.
Mets-Astros, originally scheduled for nine innings, was rescheduled for seven. And now it ends after six: 6-1 Mets.

Jacob deGrom and Edwin Diaz were good. Dominic Smith homered. James McCann had two hits. Pete Crow-Armstrong (triple) and Ronny Mauricio (RBI single) contributed.
Yaya - Crow's first pro hit is a triple. S/H/B televised. Hope someone filmed it.
ReplyDeleteTom. I got PCA's triple and Mauricio's single that drove him in plus one of Pete's doubles and Dom's HR all set for tomorrow's Breakfast Links - film at 6AM.
