catcher last week from the Dodgers, along with Todd Zeile in exchange for Gary Sheffield, Bobby Bonilla, Charles Johnson, Jim Eisenreich, and Manuel Barrios. |
1963: The all-time shortest managerial career ends after one game - a

He gets lost on his way to the clubhouse and has to ask for directions. He finally meets his

ReplyDeleteBig Lee, Hager hits....more Mets magic.
Why play Maybin now that Lee got a hit. See what he can do. Kids may get on a roll together.
Sorry Tom I think I see some pigs flying by my window. People liking two of my favorites - Fargas, and Nido. The next thing that will happen is that people will start liking Yoel Romero.
ReplyDeleteI hope Peraza is ok and doesn't need to go on the DL. Mets may have to trade with the Phillies and bring back Ruben Tejada.
Ruben would be full circle.
ReplyDeleteNido for President, with Fargas as his running mate.
Man, Yankees are lucky, 1-1 in 9th, Chapman finally does NOT fan someone, guy hits a hot shot to third for a triple play.
Any word on Nimmo? We need regulars back, with all due respect. Braves scored 20 - their bats are wide awake.
I see Tylor Megill is starting for Bingo today. I wish he were starting for the Mets instead.
ReplyDeleteheredia is hitting over .300 as Braves CF, BTW.
Nimmo is with the big league club receiving treatment. He played a few games for Syracuse, felt discomfort and was shut back down.
