The Mets are in Washington to to play the Nationals. It's the second game of a five game series - first game of a double header.
Today’s
Lineup: Jonathan Villar 2B; Brandon Nimmo CF; Francisco Lindor SS; Pete Alonso 1B; Michael Conforto RF; Javier Baez 2B; Jeff McNeil LF; Patrick Mazeika C; Marcus Stroman P;
The Mets have activated James McCann (back spasms) off the injured list. The timing is right, with Chance Sisco still beat up a bit following that collision at home plate last night. James McCann is back from the IL. He is the Mets’ 29th man today.
McCann had been sidelined since Aug. 16. He's batting .240/.303/.357 on the year.
6 runs last night - 5 today - an embarrassment of riches
ReplyDeleteLooks like Nimmo may have hurt his hamstring.
ReplyDeleteTime to bring up Mangum? Probably Khalil Lee.
ReplyDeleteNimmo departed due to "right hamstring tightness," according to the Mets.
ReplyDeleteBad defense kills - all the time.
ReplyDeleteTie game - crazy
ReplyDeleteAnybody still under the illusion that the Mets are a playoff team?
