Another talented shortstop, Rivera got off to a horrible start last year for the Gators; however, his bat did wake up as the season rolled on.
We need to see more of him this season.
Good defensive skills.

Rivera was one of the best bats for Florida in 2020 and came on strong toward the end of 2021. He was especially impressive in practices and scrimmages, so scouts and evaluators anticipate big things in the future. It's a big, intimidating body that looks to have the athleticism and lateral mobility to stick on the dirt into his pro career. There's potential here for an impact bat at an up-the-middle position if it all clicks.
