Love the move. Two years.? Perfect length. Quality until Vientos and Mauricio and Baty are fully ready to rock.
ReplyDelete2022 starting third baseman?
ReplyDeleteNice addition to the team and I agree it’s a decent length contract…….at worst he is a very good bench piece.
Good tier 2 signing. Now sign a tier 2 OFer (Peterson,McCutcheon) Baez,Stroman and Bryant or Suzuki.are tier 1 targets.
ReplyDelete1. Steps in during 2022 as starting 3Bman
ReplyDelete2. Becomes solid UT infielder in 2023
3. 3rd year option works in our favor
4. Cohen pays his landscaper more.
5. Becomes Venezuelan mentor to Alvarez when he arrives.
LOVE IT!!!
“I couldn’t be more excited to have my boy Escobar with us,” tweeted Mets pitcher Taijuan Walker, who played alongside Escobar in 2019 with Arizona. “Hands down one of the best teammates I’ve ever had. Mets fans are going to love him!”
