Right now… the Top 5 RHPs in the 2022 Draft



This is subjective and represents how I feel. 

It is the start of a series that will run every weekend covering each position in the draft. 

It is destined to change. I know that. But remember these names. The will go fast:

 

1. Brock Porter 

6-4 220 Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (Mich.) HS 

52-G, 52.2-IP, 81-K, 0.91 WHIP 

99-FB, ++ 70s change (1400 rpm), curve, slider

2. Dylan Lesko

            6-3 170 Buford HS (GA)

3. Ian (JR) Richie 

            6-2      185     Bainbridge HS (WA) 

            92-95, T97 FB, mis-80s slider, hi-70s curve

4. Peyton Pallette

  1. My favorite part of this site is discussing the draft especially when we can focus on a small number of prospects (this year we only need to know about the top 20 because since we don’t see all the kids it’s hard to keep track of more with out quitting our day job)

    What do you feel is the strength of this draft ? And over all do you consider this to be a deep draft?

    Me personally I want only to focus on OF and pitchers with our early picks

    They say stay best players available but we lack in those areas the most in my opinion…

  7. Speaking about prospects (and whatever they want thats not nailed down) what would it cost for Trout and would you do it?

      No. I wouldn't. Money could easily be spread amongst 2 great players.
