How can a player that struck out 179 in 122 innings be hurt? I bet you he has a showcase or two. Maybe medicals too, but I’d be surprised.
ReplyDeleteKUMAR AGAIN, ANYONE?
ReplyDeleteIt will be intriguing to see how high the Mule flies up the draft charts in the months ahead.
ReplyDeleteMy guess, and all it is is a guess, that they concentrate on developing control on that heater and work on additional secondary pitchers.
DeleteI'd take a shot at Rocker with a second round pick, or a compensatory pick if it is the proper value, etc.
ReplyDeleteHe will likely need some medical work on his arm/shoulder moving forward, but he is still a talented player
who would slot nicely into our system.
I don't know if there are any hard feelings on either side, but you don't pass on talent if it is staring you in the face
and you have a bunch of early picks, IMO.
Mike
ReplyDeleteCohen will not touch him with a stick.
One more thing.
ReplyDeleteDon't need chances this draft.
Plenty of solid pitching thru the 4th round.
