In Mexico: Yesterday was day two of the playoffs in the Mexican Pacific League. The only Mets related player, Juan Uriarte, and the team he played for, Caneros de los Mochis, did not make the playoffs. Juan finished the regular season playing 40 games, 110 at bats, 1 HR, 6 RBIs, .300/.350/.382 - .732 OPS. We will keep checking box scores to see if Juan gets picked up by a playoff or Caribbean Series team.

Any word yet on the reason for Ron Mauricio's sudden departure fro the DR?
ReplyDeleteLots of speculation Bill - no definitive reason. Who knows. He could show up in the playoffs this week.
