  2. Game in Venezuela went 13 innings. They do not use the "Ghost Runner". I think how they watch pitcher's innings and pitch count here in America, it is here to stay in MLB.

  3. it is almost a necessity here. Too many pitchers get hurt these days.

    If I was a MLB pitcher today, I'd ask guys from the past who avoided injury how they succeeded, pitched a lot, and stayed healthy.

  4. Nolan Ryan says they pitched a lot more - that was one of the keys. Today, they pitch less and get hurt more. Plus, they all try to throw as hard as they can as much as possible instead of mixing up speeds.
