Carrasco is due back Friday. Doesn't he become an addition, unless someone else is cut?
ReplyDeleteI’d say yes, Bill. There is a problem hitting right now, so a bat would be nice.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Palka
ReplyDeleteDom Smith
Mark Vientos.
ReplyDeleteDoms got a chance, with slumping lefties
ReplyDeletePerez and Vientos. Perez allows them to PH for catchers late in the game

ReplyDeleteRight back at you!
ReplyDeleteTest comment as requested
ReplyDeleteWith Baty hurt, Vientos has to be called up. Still leaves 2 slots.
ReplyDeleteVientos is not a3B. No way is Showalter putting Vientos on third. He is a DH hence Bucks comment about Ruf.
Deletegood post
ReplyDeleteThinking Smith and Vientos are the two
ReplyDeleteSmith and Vientos might work. Vogelbach and Naquin and Ruf seem like tag team wrestlers who have run low on energy and need to tap Vientos and Smith in.
ReplyDeleteMedina and Marrero...I understand the former but the latter is a real head scratcher as he's just a defensive replacement.
ReplyDeleteReese, this is why the Mets are so far away from the Dodgers as an organization. Not saying about the MLB product on the field, but leaving Vientos in the minors when the Dodgers are killing the Mets with lefty starters is criminal. Too, if they think they are hiding him, I have news for them. The other teams send multiple scouts and know as much or more than you do because the Front Office is getting the AAA manager’s point of view and that’s one person’s opinion.
ReplyDeleteNot only Marrero and Medina, B U T… bringing up Terrance Gore to take Bart’s spot. So, what does that tell the world about Vientos?
Gus, we agree.
ReplyDeleteSome kept saying Pete was no first baseman. Then he became Pete.
