Outfielder Wyatt Langford

Langford is draft-eligible for the first time in 2023 and is coming off one of the greatest seasons in the history of the Orange & Blue. The Trenton, Fla. native tied Florida's single-season home run record and paced the Southeastern Conference with 26 long balls en route to First Team All-America status. As one of two Gators to start all 66 games last year, Langford slashed .355/.447/.867 while adding three triples, nine doubles, 73 runs, 63 RBI and seven steals to his resume.

LHP Gavyn Jones (@GavynJones08) (TX) was up to 93 at the AC Games 22. Feel for faded change up & showed aptitude for SL. High follow

9-19-22 - Joe Doyle @JoeDoyleMiLB

Servite SS Roman Martin is an extremely decorated, 5-tool infielder with the ability to impact the game in all facets. A UCLA commit, Martin figures to be in play in the first round in the 2023 MLB Draft. https://t.co/AMXZlPoRDK

Dylan Crews, OF, Louisiana State

A top prospect in high school until he took himself out of the 2020 Draft, Crews batted .349/.463/.691 as a sophomore, though his stock took a slight hit when he batted .158 with a 30 percent strikeout rate in a dozen games with the U.S. collegiate national team. He stands out most with his power and hitting ability, and he also has solid speed, a non-zero chance to stick in center field and the arm to profile in right.

9-13-22 - Tad Slowik @TadSlowik_PBR

Anthony Patterson RHP for Central Alabama throws a 94 mph FB to strikeout a Shelton State Hitter. Patterson showed a live quick arm with FB 91-94 with life in the zone and a hard late slider 82-84

9-9-22 - 2023 OVERALL RANKINGS UPDATE

No pitcher in the class can match the raw arm talent that RHP Travis Sykora (Round Rock HS, TX) brings to the mound. Routinely touching triple digits with a bullying fastball that challenges any and every hitter, the Texas recruit is as big as they come in a state that prides itself in being so. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound right-hander is hardly all heat, and routinely has demonstrated the ability to drop in each of his secondary offerings for strikes with the slider standing out as a potential plus-offering in the future. A gifted athlete who carries nearly equally as impressive power at the plate as he does on the mound, the idea of Sykora one day blossoming into a frontline guy with premium stuff is likely going to be at the forefront of many meetings within scouting departments over the next year.

10. Dillon Head, OF, Homewood-Flossmoor Community HS (Ill.)

There’s bat speed and the knack for contact to spare with Head. He’s shown the ability to register some high exit velocities, and he has the speed to make an impact on the basepaths and in the outfield.

Logan Chapman  3B - 2023 - Apopka, FL

Uncommitted

Chapman used his strength to his advantage this weekend. In his BP round he was able to lift the ball with authority, leaving the yard on multiple occasions. There is present bat speed with plenty of whip to the barrel. Defensively, he showed good body control and a strong arm up to 88 mph from third base.

  1. Wyatt Langford - looks good, and any guy named Wyatt works for me.

Is Sykora the current # 1 overall in the draft in 2023?
