Mack - Prospect Report

9-11-22 - Perfect Game Ohio Valley @PG_OhioValley

‘23 RHP Miguel Hugas (PA) working 89-92 with lots of FB life and lots of weak contact so far. Spinning good CB with 11/5 shape, also has done some damage as LHH OF this weekend. Uncommitted      https://t.co/t8jvXIejDW

                    Brian Sakowski @B_Sakowski_PG

Hugas has been absolutely dominant thru 5, holding velocity well near 70 pitches, 15 S/M, going R/R CH with conviction, slider has looked good and he’s commanding the fastball well. 6- 3/20

9-11-22 - The Coastal Stars @TheCoastalStars

Incredible stuff from 2023 RHP JD Bryan! STRUCK OUT 13 IN 5 INNINGS, while throwing a PERFECT GAME! Topped 88. This guys stuff us ELECTRIC

9-11-22 - Prep Baseball Report @prepbaseball

No. 3 overall: 3B/RHP Aiden Miller, a Razorback recruit, has been one of the top prospects in the class since the day he stepped foot in high school.

9-11-22 - GBSA RAYS BASEBALL @GBSARays

Congratulations to SS 2023 Eric Guevara for making the Panama World Championship team that's currently playing in Sarasota, FL.

9-7-22 -Top 5 New Jersey HS Prospects -https://www.prepbaseballreport.com/news/NJ/Updated-2023-New-Jersey-Player-Rankings-4281906357

No. 4 is Virginia commit SS Eric Becker (Don Bosco Prep). Becker has an athletic frame at 6-foot-2 175-pounds and a smooth, effortless stroke from the left side. There's no frills with Becker's game, sure handed up the middle and power hitting lefty bat make him the prototypical UVA commit. Tough at bats, barrel lag through the hitting zone, and reliable with the glove - Becker fits the historical mold of Virginia infielders well.

9-7-22 -  Top 20 high school prospects for '23 Draft

4. Travis Sykora, RHP, Round Rock HS (Texas)

The top arm in the class, Sykora is a 6-foot-5 right-hander with stuff to match his size. He can throw his fastball in the 95-98 mph range while showing the ability to miss bats with his upper-80s slider and solid splitter.

9-6-22 - UPDATED 2023 TEXAS PLAYER RANKINGS

#7 Mason Bixby - RHP - SA Johnson - TCU Commit

When it comes to upside, Bixby has one of the highest ceilings in the state for the ‘23 class. The big righty from San Antonio has the frame and arm talent to be a Friday night guy in the Big 12.  He stands at 6’7 and has good body control for his size and age, and it only continues to get better. He touches 94 with a low effort delivery that shows ASR and sink when he gets out front.  It is a relatively short arm path for his size.  He also shows a breaking ball that has good depth when he stays on top and gets out front.  Bixby is still growing into the body and finding consistency, but the upside is some of the highest around.

9-3-22 - PBR LOUISIANA: 2023 RANKINGS UPDATE

https://www.prepbaseballreport.com/news/LA/PBR-Louisiana-4058629173?s=03 -

-2023 C Jake LaRocca (St. Louis Catholic HS):  LaRocca was a member of our 2021 Future Games team, coming off of a nice sophomore campaign that saw him hit .331 with 3 HR and 35 RBI.  He was arguably one of the hottest hitters at that event, along with teammate 2023 Reid Snider, and his bat didn't cool off during the spring either, as Larocca pretty much stayed in the leadoff spot for the Saints, who finished the season as a semi-finalist, before losing to eventual State Champion Vandebilit Catholic.  The Louisiana Tech commit finished his junior spring hitting .407 with 5 HR, 14 2B, 2 3B, 33 R, and 23 RBI, earning himself 1st Team All-State honors.  Larocca moves up a few spots in this update and is now the #1 catcher our state rankings.
