Tom Brennan- One Picture is Worth…

I like to browse back thru pictures of articles past, from time to time, and see what I can post now that fits the pic.

Here we are, not yet even in MLB’s semifinal round, and ….

The 111 win Dodgers?

The 101 win Braves and Mets?

The 99 win Yanks?  The elephant is entering the room, and starting to squat, as they trail the Guardians of the Galaxy, 2 games to one. Will Dumbo let loose? You be the Judge.

Astros seem to be the only excellent team avoiding pachyderm germs.

Baseball dumps…and doldrums…are unpredictable.

    1. There is only one explanation for all this.

      It's baseball.

  2. Indeed……makes me appreciate the roll the Padres are on a bit more. Still think we should have won two of three with the pitching set up and the games at home, but MLB playoff series are all about momentum and they certainly have it right now.

I don’t hate seeing Atlanta getting sent home!

  3. Good. Nobody should ever care about regular season records. Teams should always be fighting for playoffs but once there anything goes as it should be.

  5. Lets shoot for 90 wins and not kill ourselves going for the Division title and that way we set up for our post season run. It works for me. Wins during the season "Don't mean a thing if ain't got that ring". Also 90 wins as a target lets us play the youngsters and figure out the pitching staff and then retool where necessary but Billy HAS TO not screw up the trade deadline again.

  11. But the question is when the team abandons financial responsibility, who takes fecal responsibility for the results?
