George is a burner on the basepaths and in the field. A true centerfielder in every sense of the word, George possesses strong instincts in the field an leadership qualities off the field. He's a slasher at the plate, and can seem overmatched by premium stuff at times, but scouts believe discipline and his ability to square up bigger velocity should come over time. George will need to hit more between now and July should he hope to go high in the draft, but if he ends up on campus, he has a chance to become a star a la Enrique Bradfield.

44. Kendall George, OF, Atascocita HS (TX) – George’s whole game starts with the wheels where he has top of scale speed and it helps him in the field and at the plate. He can beat out a grounder and covers a ton of ground in the outfield where he is a plus defender in center. He has great instincts and takes good routes to the ball, although the arm is below average, so his defensive value does all come from his ability to hold down center. At the plate he is more of a slap hitter who can be late on quality fastballs, but the mechanics are solid and some minor adjustments with quality coaching and he should develop into good gap power.

#5 Kendall George - OF - Atascocita - Arkansas Commit
There is fast, and then there is Kendall George. The Razorback commit is one of the most exciting players in the state. He routinely has + times down the line, making every ball he puts on the ground a close play. He shows good barrel awareness and the ability to use the whole field at the plate.
OF Kendall George continued his strong summer with a 4-for-10 showing in San Diego. A smooth left-handed stroke and excellent bat-to-ball skills make for a high contact rate for the 5-foot-10, 165-pound Arkansas recruit. In five games, he went 4-for-10 and didn’t strike out. He has wiry strength in his frame that should eventually develop into gap power, but for now, he sprays the ball around the field and puts pressure on the defense with his plus-plus speed. - Shooter Hunt
