Which player unlikely to make the Opening Day roster will have the biggest impact this season? 

Brett Baty. Of those three prospects, he has the clearest path to everyday playing time. Eduardo Escobar faltered over the first several months of 2022, ceding playing time against right-handed pitchers to the left-hitting Luis Guillorme. Baty is a significant threat to take that playing time and run with it in a way Guillorme couldn’t. The 23-year-old only saw 11 games of major-league action last season, but he hit the ball hard and made major strides with his glove this spring.

    With Ruf gone, I expect Vienyos to get call ip for DH and backup 1B

    A lot depends on how well Vientosdoes in Syracuse. Those Ks are alarming.

    Never easy to say who can tame Ks, but early on, Aaron Judge Ks were truly alarming.

    Vientos is no Judge, 20 HRs maybe,no position vs 60 HRs,gold glove RFer!

    Baty's the man. EE faltered for 5 months before getting it together let's not wait till Sept. again.
