Daily Highlights: 

Tuesday -   

This one is easy. Brett Baty had three hits, including a double and a home run on Tuesday night for AAA-Syracuse. No sign of a wrist injury. 

Runner ups were home runs by Ronny Mauricio (4th) and Mark Vientos (3rd) 

Three shutout innings by the B-Mets Dylan Hall (0.00)

1.2 scoreless innings (2-K) from Brooklyn’s Joshua Cornielly (3.00) 

St. Lucie relievers Joey Lancellotti (0.00), Jimmy Loper (0.00), Juan Calderon (5.79) and Brian Gursky (0.00) combined to shut out Jupiter for 7.2 innings. 

Wednesday - 

Top Dog goes to Syracuse Danny Mendick, who collected four hits, including a home run, and three RBIs (.350) on Wednesday night.

Syracuse SS Jonathan Araúz raised his BA to .378 with two doubles and two walks. 

Teammate 1B Mark Vientos went 2-4 (.351), including his 4th home run of the young season. 

B-Mets 1B JT Schwartz, went 2-4, R, double, 3-RBI (.222). 

Cyclones DH Stanley Consuegra went yard for the first time this season (.158). 

Cyclones RP Trey McLoughlin pitched 2.1 more scoreless innings. He’s now up to 4.2-IP, with a stat line of 4-K, 0.00, 1.07. 

Thursday - 

Top Dog this fine day was one of the Mets Top 25 prospects, RHSP Layonel Ovalles. He threw five innings, giving up 1-R, 5-K, 1.80, 1.00 for St. Lucie. 

He was followed by Syracuse starter, Joey Lucchese, who posts 6.2-IP, 2-H, 0-ER, 1-BB, 6 K.

It was Brett Baty day again. In front of Billy Eppler, Baty went 2-4, R,a grand slam (5th HR), a walk, and 5-RBIs. His seasoanl BA is up to .400 and his OPS is 1.386. 

Syracuse SS Ronny Mauricio went 4-5 (.380), that included his 6th HR of the young season. That’s 6-HRs in 13-G.

  1. I am excited about Mike Vasil, and Grant Hartwig seems about to push himself into Mets bullpen call up consideration.

    Stanley Consuegra seems to have come to play this year. Could be a good one.
