Happy “Easy Breezy Time” in Metsville
Couldn’t beat the lousy Reds. Shut out in a “Reds bullpen” game! Shut out!
Thankfully, the “easy” Nats are next up.
But wait…the Nats are 6-4 in their last 10 games. Maybe…not so easy.
Then 30-9 Tampa shows up for 3. Uh-oh.
The 9 May games thereafter are with the Guardians, Cubs, and Rockies. Those 3 “easy” teams total 16-14 in their last 10 games - not so easy, I guess.
So, the Mets in April and May are playing all these “easy” teams, but so far are under .500.
“Easy” can’t last forever.
June’s schedule is MUCH less easy. Downright hard is a better descriptor.
Enough to get a hungry Mets fan downright depressed.
My brother and cousin, two lifelong Mets fans? Utterly disgusted.
My brother found it easy to turn off the channel.
Me, too.
The league blocked the games televised in my area.

Go figure
Lucky you
ReplyDeleteMack, can you watch....Atlanta? Not too late to watch a winner.
ReplyDeleteThere are no easy games for us and if y/days snoozefest was any indication it'll be a rough ride for sure. We're the team our opponents have on their schedules as easy or patsies.
ReplyDeleteYou can be a bad team but still try but y/day we were bad AND boring and that really sucks.
ReplyDeleteGary, bad and boring won’t be a promotional slogan for this team.
