Syracuse swept a doubleheader from the Durham Vears, thanks to the overall efforts of DH/ Jaylin Davis. 

In game one, Davis went 2-3, R,and belted his 9th home run of the season.

In game two, he went 2-4, R, and homered again (10), raising his OPS to an impressive .808.

    Overall I think the Mets minor league affiliates are doing much better:

    AAA - Won six in a row 8-2 in their last 10 games

    AA - 35-33 record. Last 10 games are 6-4

    A+ - Won three in a row last 10 games are 6-4

    A - Won two in a row. Last 10 games are 6-4

    FCL - in first place 9-6. Last 10 games are 7-3

    Pitching and hitting is improving in the system.

    The major club is a disappointment but I can at least look at the minors and seem improvement. Let’s hope this is a sign for the future.

    It breaks my heart he got sent back down. I think with mire playing time he would have busted out the HR stick
