Daily Highlights:

Memorial Day -

No one that is associated with the Mets enjoyed the day that Luis Guillorme was sent back to Syracuse. However, he had a longer shot at this than most thought he would get and should be very proud of what he did.

Yesterday, on the day we vets consider solemn while civilians have hot dogs, Guillorme had a typical Luis day - 3 walks and a single, 4x on base 3-R, .324, .889-OPS.

  1. You mentioned Guillorme's at-bats last week. Did you see his highlight-reel behind-the-back flip to first base on a slow roller? This guy never ceases to amaze me with his fielding ability. I want to see him back up on the MLB roster.
