How is Mets prospect Nick Morabito doing in July? He's hitting .480. He's had 5 multi hit games out of 7 played. In those 2 games instead of multi hits he had a hit and at least 1 BB

Remarkable that Alex Ramirez gets 5 singles and a double, and all it does is boost him slightly above .240. Maybe this game is his 2023 turnaround. Consuegra is hot, and ahead, of Alex at the moment.
ReplyDeleteMy “buddy” Jace Beck faced two batters and fanned both, on 7 pitches. That now 5 recent games totaling just 1 walk in 5.2 IP for the strikeout machine (44 Ks in 21.2 IP). Exciting.
Branny strikes again.
Jonah Tong dealing, too.
I am thrilled with the progression of Tidwell Stuart and Alkeney as starters
DeleteHave bypassed both Vasil and Hamel
In particular Stuart went into last night''s game with THE LOWEST ERA IN ALL MINOR LEAGUE LEVELS
It is time to move another dead wood Binghamton starter and call up The Blade
Agreed, Mack, except I give Vasil time to adjust. Hamel has been very disappointing in AA, and one can only hope his 2nd half there is improved.
ReplyDeleteI read Juan Samuel is Yohairo Cuevas’ uncle, and Cuevas was a $500,000 bonus baby. Still 19, time to kick it up a gear. He grew up in NYC.
Morabito is 19 for hs last 36 pls 6 walks. I’d say he is ready for the St Lucie Mets, huh?
