Today's topic: The new manager for the Mets will likely want to hire their own coaching staff. Who from the current staff would you most want to be brought back?
Mack,
ReplyDeleteJoey Cora from all reports has been a very good third base coach and has worked well with the infielders.I would think he would warrant consideration for returning.
None
ReplyDeleteCora and Kirby, and possibly Chavez… possibly.
ReplyDeleteThe pitching coach from Binghamton.
ReplyDeleteCora, from my own observations.
ReplyDeleteI don't know enough to eval. the others like Chavez, Hefner and Kirby
I really like the job Joey Cora has done - definitely a keeper. Also, Eric Chavez was a good bench coach but a fabulous hitting coach the season before. Wonder if he would take that job back?
ReplyDeleteHire me…no stop signs at 3rd base. Run, Forrest, run.
ReplyDeleteI see no support for the hitting folks (obviously) and none for Jeremy Hefner. Interesting...
ReplyDeleteCora looks like a keeper but no one else other than the suggested return of Chavez to hitting coach makes sense.
