DAKOTA HAWKINS
The Brooklyn’ Cyclones turned opponent bats into cyclone-producers last night.
As in 3-0 no hitter.
Whodunnit?
Undrafted Dakota Hawkins…5 hitless innings and the win. (We need more Dakotans).
Former Yankee prospect Joey Lancellotti tossed a scoreless 6th.
And Joshua Cornielly, an international prospect, who tossed the final 3.
Voila. No hitter, ended with a ground out to SS Wilmer Lugo.
Catcher? A familiar name…Francisco Alvarez.
CONGRATULATIONS!
not that this is terribly germane to this article, but I read on SNY.TV that Baseball America just came out with an updated Top 100 list: "Blade Tidwell, No. 94, and Brandon Sproat, No. 97, have joined four other Mets prospects on the list: Christian Scott, Jett Williams, Drew Gilbert, and Ronny Mauricio." the shame is that the last 3 are on the IL, but 6% of the list is still a great #, double the average
ReplyDeleteJon, the way Sproat has been pitching, I think he will be the best of the 6. Need to see more, but sensational so far.
ReplyDeleteAll deserving of a spot. Hope they can all be healthy next year.
