  1. I like that #39 guy better than the #29 guy we picked.

  2. Of course, the # 29 guy (Dunn) and the #43 guy (Kay) in yhat top 50 prospects list were both drafted in the first round. Two duds.

    Burnes, the #39 guy in the list, was drafted # 111, so the Mets had 3 shots at Burnes and whiffed. They did however succeed with the # 64 overall pick, Pete Alonso.

  3. So frustrating these posts
    I am huge believer of being good or being really bad
    I take no joy of a 500 team
    I want to win championships and I believe the way to do it is to draft the best players but when a Front office chooses poorly it destroys that philosophy

    So seeing how we should have chosen better even at the spots we are is frustrating
    They have one primary job
