Mid-90s fastball

Standout curve with spin rates that exceed 3000 rpms – significant vertical break (over 60 inches) – one of the best in the Mets system

Strong strikeout ability 

            Mack – I show Brandon Sproat, Blade Tidwell, Justin Jarvas, Jonathan Pintaro, and Dom Hamel as my 5-man Syracuse rotation come opening day. For me, Moreno hasn’t put up the kind of numbers needed to crack this, unless someone goes down or they go to a 6-man rotation.

Then comes this stellar winter record so who knows?

    I like Moreno. Have seen him pitch in AA and he had some very good outings. In the 2023 AA playoffs, he opened the series with five no-hit innings so he has proven that he can pitch in big moments.

    I will defer to those that know him better, but to me this is a non-prospect. Seems the slower he throws it the harder they swing and thus miss it. At this point, add a knuckleball to the mix and keep the hitters guessing.
