ReplyDeleteOn the poor performances category, on guy I am mystified is still playing is Ultra High K Omar de Los Santos. This year, spring training and minors, he is one for twenty, with 13 strikeouts. Am I surprised? Not at all. There is realistically no hope of him ever making the majors, except as a base stealing pinch runner. I would cut him and move Benge up to AA.See if Benge can handle it. Benge had a double and 3 walks in 5 PAs for Brooklyn in the season opener. He is already a better hitter than High K Omar, who has been in the system since 2019.

DeleteWith tongue planted firmly in cheek, they need to stop using Kranick so much - his K rate is only 3.2/9. I will get excited for this guy only when it hits 11 per 9 IP.
