Baseball Reference: The Mets tie a team record with their 11th straight win, 6 - 3 over the Braves. Daniel Murphy drives in 4 runs as Bartolo Colon is the winner over Julio Teheran.
The win also completed the Best Mets Homestand in their History, 10-0.
Mike Puma NY Post: Unstoppable Mets finish historic homestand with 11th straight win. "In an ugly game Thursday, the Mets used eight walks against five Braves pitchers to complete the three-game sweep. Murphy led the charge with four RBIs in a 2-for-3 performance. Bartolo Colon (4-0) lasted six innings, battling a blister on his middle finger, and allowed three earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts. His final act was stepping off the rubber in the sixth and chasing down A.J. Pierzynski, who was caught off first base. Colon applied the tag for the third out. Only fittingly, the Mets scored the go-ahead run in the fifth on a walk. Curtis Granderson singled leading off the inning and two walks and two outs later, Eric Campbell took ball four to give the Mets a 4-3 lead. Michael Cuddyer and Murphy each added an RBI in the Mets’ two-run seventh."
