Mets score 7 runs in the 4th (biggest inning since July 2013) to give Matt Harvey (W,3-0) all the runs he needed - and he needed them all as the Marlins scored two against Matt in the 7th and two more against Buddy Carlyle in the 8th.  Jeurys Familia (S,6) shut the door in the 9th for the Save.  Ruben Tejada a bases loaded 3-run double the highlight of the 7 run 4th where the Mets sent 12 men to the plate.  

NY Post: Mets win eighth straight, but lose Blevins, d’Arnaud to injuries. "Blevins, who hadn’t allowed a base runner in eight appearances covering five innings this season, took a line-drive shot on the left forearm off the bat of Dee Gordon in the top of the seventh inning. Then in the bottom half, d’Arnaud, who tops the team in RBIs, was hit by a pitch from Marlins reliever A.J. Ramos. The Mets soon announced a fractured forearm for Blevins, a fractured hand for d’Arnaud."  

Mets completed their second straight series sweep - 7 straight wins to begin the home slate.

Travis d’Arnaud will not return until June, Jerry Blevins not until 2016.
