In a

With his
5th inning home run, Francisco Lindor is now 4th
all-time in home runs by a Shortstop!

Tonight is Blackburn night
ReplyDeleteO boy
Lindor could get that all time shortstop HR record. Especially if they move those fences in. LOL.
ReplyDeleteActually, if the fence was 3 inches DEEPER yesterday, Tyrone Taylor would have made the catch of the year - he timed his leap perfectly and his arm above the fence up to the elbow, with the ball tipping off the top of his glove.
It has been the year of the Mets pitcher. But aside from Lindor, Soto, Alonso - and Baty - this has not been the year of the Mets hitter. Torrens has hit well and lost aHR to Citi Dimensions yesterday.
ReplyDeleteBig test in the west
DeleteSoto? He’s one of the biggest disappointments in baseball, right up there with the Orioles.
DeleteThe good thing is after the Dodger series, 3 games in Coors.
ReplyDeleteIf I was the Rockies I would move those fences WAY BACK
DeleteThey need to keep those baseballs in the cooler (or heater, I don't remember which) longer. Their problem is the fences are deeper already, leaving much more acreage for balls to drop in. That situation is unsolvable. Unless Elon can invent a dome, and bring the air pressure to sea level inside, they made the 5000 feet above sea level mistake.
