    1. That's how ir works

One or two come off the board and you panic that all the good ones will be gone when you are about to make your second puck

    2. See?

      Gavin Fein to Rangers

      Should be around 20-25th

      SS run continues

  3. My two wants at 1.38

    LHSP Kruz Schoolcraft

    CF Cam Cannarella

  4. Hey Mack while it’s slow
    Quick question
    Paul skenes for
    Tong
    McLean
    Jett
    Acuna
    Clifford

Is that enough? It took me to finally be willing to give up both McLean and tong (would rather it be sproat)

But at this point I am trying to hold on to Benge

    1. In three years the Pirares are going to have the best rotation in baseball

  5. Pirates wouldn't trade for Ohtani and 5 other Dodgers

    ReplyDelete
  6. Personally I think we should either trade for a premium player with control
Or keep McLean tong and benge

To me premier is skenes, Gunnar Henderson, churios, woo, maybe mason miller

    Something like that

    1. Takes two to tango Eddie

Plus no one wants to trade prime meat to Steve

No. This team will be built through FA and draft/IFA picks + lab work

    2. Well I don’t think anyone will do us a favor
We have to have the top offer either in prospects or cash

But that’s everyone to me, no one will pass the best offer

      Delete
    3. Mets can trade prospect for prospect or expiring contracts that they can throw money at

      Delete
    4. Some teams have too many good players at the same position

THAT is a great place to target

      Delete
    5. There was a time we thought we should have traded one of our 5 aces
      We did nothing
      Wasted all that assets

      Delete
    6. But

No one is going to trade you a great starter

      Period

  7. Many in the site say they don’t want another SS but who is really a viable starting (all Star caliber) SS in our system

I don’t see that guy in our system

    ReplyDelete
  8. You better hurry up if you want a quality middle infielder

The "best player availble" thingy was thrown out early with the wash

    ReplyDelete
  9. Merek Houston

    Another SS

Never saw a run like this before

    1. What I fear is this sets up well for Atlanta Phillies and Yankees

      Better players falling
Hopefully a great player falls to us but we have eternity to go

  10. Positional drafting is stupid because you are.picking someone around 3-4 years away... or one or two more than you will lose your job

    ReplyDelete
  11. I want a ace
If tong or McLean is that (which I am not sure) then fine keep them and get me best available position player

But as much as it’s nice that sterns makes great lemonade out of lemons

I really want a big time ace who I know is our no doubt number one

And I really want stern to draft us our closers and bullpen
I am tired of paying 20 million for our closer while others closers coming from thier system (thing Cleveland for one)

    1. Tong is at best SP2

      McLean at best SP3-4

      You have an ace

      Kodai Senga

Currently THE LOWEST STARTER ERA IN THE LEAGUE

      Delete
    2. Senga is made of glass
And doesn’t seem to be bull dog

I can’t trust him and would not extend a second contr

      Delete
    3. Contract
In fact I would consider selling high

  12. Eddie

There are no more GREAT projected players left after 18 picks

Plenty of projected VERY GOOD because of the huge run of shortstops

    ReplyDelete
  13. The Orioles pick is interesting

    Definitely a BPA puck

They had the most draft money and Ike Irish will definitely NOT go under slot

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think thier top prospect is a C also
    Can’t have too many

What do you think of Andy rushmam
Would you think a change of scenery of Alvarez for rushman makes sense?

  18. Yost is NOT a first round pick but he’s a shortstop

    Weird draft

    ReplyDelete
  19. Philly got one I didn’t want him there

    ReplyDelete
  20. How many fucking shortstop are left here?

    😆

    ReplyDelete
  21. Checked

There are only 3 more eligible baseball players on this planet that have ever played an inning on short... and two were deported by ICE last week

    ReplyDelete
  22. lol
2 catchers by the orioles ?
I think Ike will not stick behind the plate

    ReplyDelete
  23. Doesn't look like the Orioles have plans for Ike Irish behind the plate

    ReplyDelete
  24. Still alive for Cam with two picks to go

    ReplyDelete
  25. Riley Quick would have been fine

    ReplyDelete
  26. Unless cam is a 20 hr 290 and a gold glove cf
    I think I want a pitcher
I just feel several have fallen

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hate this pick if he is a 2b
Never draft a 2b in the first round

    ReplyDelete
  28. In 20 years the Mets have never bought me my favorite toy

    ReplyDelete
  29. Eddie

Cam might be the best defensive centerfielder in college

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Then he would have fit my criteria
I am not a fan of mortibito so o didn’t want another
      I want big players

  30. Eddie

    1. The Mets did NOT have a first round pick

    2. Mitch is not a future two way professional player. My deceased grandmother can hit him.

    2. Tomorrow at 10am

      Great college starter

Injury in college turned him into exclusive bat in 2025

      Big power potential

Can plat third and first.but fits in second

      Very immature on the field
